VE Day- 75th anniversary

On Friday 8th May 2020, despite the Covid-19 lockdown, the nation remembered the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, marking the end of the Second World War by staying at home and displaying bunting and posters. The children attending the emergency childcare in our school did a fantastic job of creating this poster, which has been proudly displayed in the school hall window alongside the other window displays created by the children and staff to spread joy to the local community for people to see when they are enjoying their daily walks, cycles and runs past the school. Thanks to all involved. The poster was sent through to Cambridgeshire County Council and formed part of the local council's schools' 'VE Day- 75' poster compilation.
