Isleham Primary remembers

Our House Captains remembered all those who lost their lives in the Great War and Second World War by laying a poppy wreath on behalf of the school on Sunday’s Remembrance Day parade in Isleham. We were excited to see so many Isleham pupils representing the beavers and scouts there too- well done to all who took part in this poignant service.

The Year 6 children also created postcard poppy field paintings (see the resource linked below) and tied one to the war memorial fence for each soldier who died from Isleham on 11th November. The children were respectful and took great care with their artwork- well done.
