Ely Choristers visit Isleham

We were thrilled to welcome 6 of the boy Choristers from Ely Cathedral to Isleham on the morning of 26th September 2017. The boys visited with the Cathedral Director of Music, Mr Paul Trepte and Assistant Organist, Mr Edmund Aldhouse. We were treated to some wonderful piano playing by Mr Aldhouse, as well as brilliant singing by the boys in the whole school assembly, before our visitors enjoyed some music-themed biscuit treats made by our Isleham cooks, and then Year 3 and 4 classes took part in a vocal workshop with the choristers led by Mr Trepte. It was a really great opportunity for the Isleham Primary children to hear some of the Ely Choristers raise the roof with their voices in our school hall, and we hope there may be an opportunity to hear them again in Ely Cathedral at some point this year. Thank you to all of our visitors for coming out to our school and giving us such a superb sound to listen to.
