CHILD SAFETY WEEK- GUIDANCE FOR PARENTS

The week of the 7.6.21 is child safety week- here is a great parent pack from the child accident prevention trust detailing many ways in which accidents involving children can be avoided.

JUNIOR TRAVEL AMBASSADORS

Our Year 5 Junior Travel Ambassadors led our assembly on 8.6.21 and have launched a road safety colouring and poster competition which runs until the 25th June 2021.

Reception and Key Stage 1 are invited to colour in the attached poster.

Key Stage 2 are invited to create a safety poster advising pedestrians, cyclists or motorists how to stay safe on the roads. Any aspect of safety can be covered e.g. wear a cycle helmet on your bike, park safely at The Beeches to avoid accidents near our school, look both ways and listen before you cross the road.

Good luck! There are some wonderful road safety prizes up for grabs including a goodie bag with bike lights and toys in, and a road safety 'Be safe, Be Seen' pencil for all entrants.
